In an effort to keep our guests and staff safe and not overwhelm our restaurant partners while they transition back to regular capacity, we have put our tours on hiatus through the end of 2021. We will reassess in 2022.

Which Cayuga Sound festival food matches your personality?

on September 13, 2018 | By Sarah Barden

“On a brisk weekend in upstate New York last fall, multi-platinum selling rock band X Ambassadors returned to their hometown of Ithaca, NY to host an outdoor concert and city-wide weekend festival for the people that made them who they are. The band had a breakout year with their critically acclaimed album VHS, and global smash singles “Renegades,” “Unsteady,” and “Jungle.””*

Cayuga Sound returns again this September with an eclectic lineup – from rock to pop to hip hop – all set on the shore of Cayuga Lake in Ithaca’s Stewart Park. Of equal importance for us foodies is the tantalizing lineup of local food vendors, which includes both veteran caterers with 30+ years of experience slinging delicious dishes and newcomers with inventive menus.

Vendors include Cayuga Lake Creamery, Blue Moon Catering, Forty Weight Coffee Roasters, The Good Truck, LUNA Inspired Street Food, Lou’s Street Food, On The Street Pitas, Silo Food Truck & Mac Express, and Solaz Mexican Food!

(And for those of you who purchase VIP tickets you’ll enjoy an exclusive meal in the park catered by the fabulous Serendipity Catering.)

We’ll be on site September 21st to the 22nd sharing their mouthwatering eats on Instastories and Facebook Stories, but in the mean time you can whet your appetite and discover which Cayuga Sound festival food best matches your personality! Will it be crispy fried chicken or a fresh fruit smoothie? Only one way to find out:

I’ve always dreamed of a career in food. When I was in high school I used an independent study to learn the basics of cooking. It was then I realized – I’m not much of a cook. All these years later I’ve finally found a way to follow my stomach. I could not be more excited to share this passion for food with you!
