We are hiring enthusiastic and attentive locals to lead our weekly Downtown Ithaca Food Tour. This part-time position is seasonal with potential for longer term employment based on mutual fit.
Starting April 2019.
Guaranteed 1 tour per week (4 hour shift on Saturdays) with possibility of additional tours on other days.
Two months of paid training to equip you to lead tours solo.
Competitive hourly compensation, plus tips.
Must be able to commit through November 2019, with potential for year-round employment.
Must be 21+.
We seek applicants who are comfortable speaking in front of a group, relating stories and details, and fielding questions. The ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly and intuitively is key. Successful candidates will be able to follow direction, be confident working solo, and have a keen understanding of how to make individual tour guests feel well cared for while balancing the needs of the group overall.
